I Can Make Music - I Can Make Music
Unlock the powerful connection between music and early literacy. This specialized parent-child class is designed to nurture your child’s language development through the joy of music.
Before children decode words on a page, they must first decode the sounds they hear. Our weekly sessions use rhythm, movement, fingerplay songs, and musical storytelling to naturally strengthen phonological awareness, the ability to hear and manipulate sounds in spoken language. Research shows that children who engage deeply with rhythm, rhyme, and musical patterns often develop stronger listening and sound awareness skills that support early literacy. Together, we will explore how music supports memory, listening, language development, and the foundational skills needed for reading.
This class is co-created and taught by an Early Childhood Education and Music Specialist who holds an Advanced Professional Certificate from Berklee College of Music and has over a decade of experience teaching music classes. The class is part of the “I Can…” series created by a speech-language pathologist with over 15 years of experience.

Ready to crawl? Join VSB’s Remote Control Rock Crawling class in Warrington Township for a high-energy, hands-on session packed with fun, skill, and friendly competition. RC crawling is a hands-on activity where kids (kids at heart) can drive hobby-grade remote-control trucks over ramps, bridges, tunnels, hills, and obstacle challenges. Unlike racing, crawling focuses on control, problem-solving, and navigating terrain and kids absolutely love it. It’s active, screen-free fun that builds confidence, coordination, and teamwork while keeping everyone fully engaged. You’ll tackle three progressive courses — Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced — with live demos, guided coaching, and playful obstacles that create plenty of “did you see that?!” moments.
