Looking for a fun way to explore art materials with your child? Want to learn about what developmental milestones/early academic skills to target along the way? Come join us for art, play, learning and more! This is a parent/child class, so caregivers stay for the fun and learn strategies and techniques that can be carried over at home. You will be given a handout at the end of each class with suggested activities, and an explanation of how those activities tie in with your child’s current level of development.Our class is created and taught by the founder of I Can Do This LLC, a speech-language pathologist with over 15 years working with young children. We cannot wait to explore art with you and your child!
 
7:00 PM - 9:00 PM    Delaware Valley Fly Fishers Classes - Beginner Fly Tying Class
Beginner Fly Tying Class: This class will cover 8 different fly patterns that are used though out the fishing season.  In class we will go over what tools are needed, the materials, how to tie the fly and what we are trying to imitate.  Tools and materials will be supplied in the classroom.  A Digital Beginner Fly Tying Manual is included in the class (to be printed at your home).  The use of Videos, Step by Step manual and hands on instruction will be used for this class, because each person learns differently.  The flies taught in this class are not only good to teach beginners but are proven fish catchersCovered Flies: Woolly Bugger, Gold Ribbed Hare’s Ear Nymph, Gold Ribbed Hare’s Ear Soft Hackle Wet, Dark Cahill Wet Fly, Dark Cahill Dry Fly, Elk Hair Caddis, Black Nose Dace Bucktail Streamer, Dave’s HopperClass Instructors: Jerry Coviello, Fly Fishers International,Fly Tying Group Past Chairman columnist for Fly Tyer Magazine and Fly Tying Field Editor for FFI Fly Fisher Magazine  and FFI Buz Buszek Fly Tying Award RecipientJohn Kaminski is a Fly Fishers International Fly Tying Group Member, Member of the Delaware Valley Fly Fishers and Silver Fly Tying Skill Award RecipientBeginner Fly Fishing Class: Come find out what fly fishing is all about, learn the basics and what equipment is needed. Chess Wizards enrichment classes use a fun, high-energy, research-based curriculum to teach chess to students of all skill levels in a welcoming and interactive setting. Students learn the fundamentals of chess, build critical thinking, problem-solving, focus, and sportsmanship, and enjoy group games and activities that make learning exciting and social. Whether new to the game or already experienced, children are grouped appropriately so they can grow their skills while having fun with peers.

Get ready for a fun-filled evening at the Lindy Community Center! This free event is for kids ages 5 - 12, and is the perfect chance for them to take a break, make new friends, and just have fun! The event will take place on March 13th from 5-8PM in the Lindy Community Center. We’ll start the night by watching "Zootopia 2" together on the big screen! Snacks, drinks, and pizza will be available during the movie so everyone can stay refreshed and enjoy some treats. Once the movie ends, kids can join in games and activities, all supervised by our friendly staff. Parents are welcome to stay and watch the movie too, but the focus is on letting kids connect, laugh, and enjoy a safe, exciting evening together! Don’t miss out on a night of movies, snacks, games, and fun! Can’t wait to see you there!

Does your child hate getting their haircut? Do they run away, cry and scream when you are at the salon, or cut their hair at home to avoid the meltdown at the salon? If so, you are not alone, and this workshop is for you and your child!We will use hands-on play experiences to help your child understand what to expect at the salon, as well as real salon tools to help desensitize your child. There will be books, toys and other visuals to use with your child, including custom made books and supports that are available for purchase. There will be no actual hair cutting at this event, just lots of fun activities to help prepare your child for the salon.  This class is created and taught by the founder of I Can Do This LLC, a speech-language pathologist with over 15 years working with young children. I am excited to help your child get ready for a melt-down free haircut!
