BennettStrong Foundation is hosting a sensory friendly experience for families of medically complex children to have their photos taken with Santa!

BennettStrong understands the stress that visiting Santa can bring. Often times, Santa’s workshop isn’t set up for wheelchairs. It’s noisy, hot, and rushed. As parents, this can be heartbreaking, because all we want as parents is to let our child make ‘normal’ childhood memories. Making good memories with our children is imperative to our mental health, our family experience, and our resiliency for when our children experience medical setbacks or challenges. BennettStrong with Santa is a chance to unwind, cherish your child, and make loving memories with Santa!

Imagine: No noisy lines in a hot space with Christmas music, flash photos, and a rush to get your picture taken. Families can book a time slot that is just for them and Santa. Families will have time for their child to get comfortable: Santa is available for the classic lap photo or candid shots interacting with your child. Minimal flash photography, and Santa’s workshop is fully accessible for wheelchairs, walkers, and equipment. If your child has a special toy that they want to show Santa, bring it. Families will receive all the photos of their children to the email of their choice. BennettStrong will also have a table full of freebies and a sweet keepsake for families to take home with them. Cost to families is free, but if you feel compelled to donate, donations can be made through Venmo or PayPal. (You’ll get a receipt for tax purposes).
