Beginner Crochet Register View Cart

Beginner Crochet is a friendly, step-by-step class designed for true beginners. Over four weeks, students will learn how to hold the hook and yarn, make basic stitches, work in rows and rounds, read simple patterns, and complete small projects. Each session builds confidence while keeping the pace comfortable and enjoyable. No experience is needed.

  • Week 1: Getting Started – slip knot, chain stitch, single crochet
  • Week 2: Building Skills – half-double crochet, turning chains, simple pattern reading
  • Week 3: Working in the Round – magic circle, increases, round coaster project
  • Week 4: Putting It All Together – double crochet, finishing techniques, final project options
