Calling All Young Anglers!
The Warrington Township Bike and Hike Committee is pleased to announce the return of our Annual Fishing Derby! This year’s derby will be held on the morning of Warrington Day—Saturday, September 27, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, with check-in beginning at 8:30 AM.
Location: Little Neshaminy Creek, accessible from the Bradford Dam trailhead in Lower Nike Park.
Who Can Participate:
Children ages 5 to 15 who are accompanied by a responsible adult and bring their own fishing tackle.
What’s Provided:
No need to worry about bait—the Bike and Hike Committee will provide bait free of charge and hand out prizes in several categories!
Special Grand Prize:
One lucky winner will receive a “Feed the Fish” experience for themselves and their guests at a fish nursery in Norristown!
Participants always have a great time—even before the event begins! Fishing is not only fun, but also a great way to connect with nature and learn a lifelong skill.
